This dress is made with intricate techniques of smocking pleating and appliqué in light silk georgette interlaced with silver lurex threads. Building on a mathematical construction, more than 60 meters of silk fabric have been pleated and cut into geometric shapes, then appliquéd into a pattern to construct the dress. 100 pleated fans of silk fabric are attached to create the flared skirt.
